4G tower on Moon - Nasa & Nokia

Hello, I'm Calling From the Moon!

One of the unforgettable and the historic event of our Man kind was happened on 16th July 1969. The day where America send humans to moon. On 20th July 1969 we expland our footprints beyond our Earth. The day where first human land his feet on Moon. People of hundreds were worked for this massive mission and their work become a big success for our entire man kind. Around 650 million people have watch this event on TV worldwide. This event inspire millions of people in space science. Astronauts spent nearly 21 hours, 36 minutes on Moon.
That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.
And totally there were six crewed missions (total of 12 US astronauts) to Moon and several uncrewed missions were made. We were trying to find the hidden secretes of the Universe and we see moon as the first object to observe so many countries are trying to decode the Moon.

Apollo Program:

Apollo program or Apollo mission was designed to land humans on the Moon and bring them back safely to the Earth. From 1969-1972 over six landings were made. NASA planned further missions but they cancelled due to budget cost. From the Apollo landings we found many data about the moon (e.x) Apollo 11 mission showed that the Moon formed hot, that it was magmatically active for at least 800 million years. Many satellites were launch to the Moon, and many countries investing money in Moon missions. Private space agencies planning to send humans as tourist to Moon. In future this becomes a trip for a billionaires.

The upcoming missions to the Moon is not like a Apollo missions, NASA planned to stay humans on the Moon for long time, and also to prepare for the next complex human mission to Mars. For these epic missions NASA doing many plans for making the Moon as a new home for Humans, creating a lunar base for future interplanetary missions.

For future missions, NASA awarded $370 million to over a dozen companies to deploy technology on the lunar surface. Those innovations include remote power generation, cryogenic freezing, robotics, safer landing, 4G, etc.

To provide 4G network on the Moon, Nokia's Bell lab have made agreement with NASA to deploy the first LTE/4G communications system in space. The system could support lunar surface communications at greater distances, increased speeds, and provide more reliability than current standards.

For providing the 4G network, the company planned to built towers on the Moon like on the Earth. On the Moon. it won't have any trees, buildings or TV signals to interfere with the 4G signal. The moon's cellular network will also be specially designed to withstand the particularities of the lunar surface: extreme temperature, radiation and space's vacuum. It will also stay functional during lunar landings and launches, even though rockets significantly vibrate the moon's surface. Previously last year Vodafone and Nokia were ready to do this project, but now Vodafone withdrawn its move.
