Why Space agency?
Space agency or company is created to launch satellites or humans to space and explore beyond the Earth. This is one of the most expensive industry in the world and there are very few no.of private Space companies examples like: SpaceX, Rocket Lab. These are developed by the people who are fascinate in Space or (some billionaires to invest in space), mostly the idea to start a Space related company begins to anybody but it's really a hard to start-up because you need a lot of engineerings, machinery, money and a correct vision. All it can't comes in a day or months it tooks many years.
Start-up like SpaceX:
SpaceX was started in 2002 by Elonmusk with 10 employees. Before starting a SpaceX,Elon had companies like PayPal, Zip2, so he had a little money from this, so he invest $100 billion to start SpaceX, he planned to develop a low price rockets and his mission is to "land on Mars".
His first three launch were failed but he didn't loss his hope and planned for 4th launch and gets succeeded.
In 2006,NASA signed agreement with SpaceX and launch the Falcon 9 Rocket into the space,this makes a milestone for Elon Musk
To reduce the cost he planned to introduce a reusable rockets and after many experiment he succeeded and now SpaceX can reuse the rockets which reduce the cost, and years later 2020 SpaceX send two NASA astronauts to ISS, this shows that they turned into a massive company.
Economy:
The main thing to start up any company, you need to have enough money, because money plays an ultimate role, when this comes to space company, this is like a king.

When its come to space company engineering is the main stream, you need engineers in all streams
1) Structural system
To design the outer surface of rocket and payload material engineering plays a role
2) Payload system
In payload system to design the shape, size,speed,etc Machanical engineering plays a role and to design the thrusters chemical engineering plays a role
3) Guidence system
Electronics engineering, computer engineering is used to design and construct the Guidence system
