What is SpaceX?
SpaceX is an American private space agency founded by Elonmusk,who was the founder of Tesla cars, neural link. He started this company on 2002 with few members and now SpaceX is one of the most successful company around the world.

SpaceX designs, manufactures and launches advanced rockets and spacecraft. The main thing is that they use recyclable combustion engines and thurster which reduces more money, this attract the business
Why NASA astronauts on SpaceX?
HISTORY:
Over a decades NASA sends astronauts to space by their own space shuttle but Since July 2011,NASA sends astronauts by Russian rockets to ISS, because the NASA not like to invest more money to sends astronauts to ISS,over a past NASA uses space shuttle to send the astronauts to ISS

Shuttles transported American astronauts into space for three decades but two of them blew up. So NASA stop sending astronauts on their own shuttles.
PRIVATE AGENCIES:
After the shuttle,NASA turned to private companies like SpaceX and boeing, both are requested to develop a future generation spacecraft and capsule
BOEING use starliner it reaches the orbit but failed to reach the ISS,NASA reported that a due lapsed of software and some code it was failed
SpaceX use the crew dragon capsule and they successfully completed the test and NASA made agreement with SpaceX

SPACEX EXPERIENCE:
SpaceX has made the trip 15 times since 2012, but only to refuel the ISS. SpaceX made over 86 launches from 2006 out of 86 only 4 have been failed.Now they capable of launching 60 satellite at one launch
NASA and SPACEX:
On May 29 NASA will launch American astronauts on American rockets by SpaceX

ASTRONAUTS:
At present there are only three astronauts in ISS one from America and two from Russia. Astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley will fly to the ISS on a SpaceX on May 27 they will lift of 16:32 local time (20:32 UTC)

Both have been training for several years for this mission. Both have been to space before space shuttle mission and Hurley was the pilot on the last Atlantis mission
